You can deactivate all permissions in the iOS/Android settings. The app will also function without these permissions.
4a. Offers from your region
Only if you activate 'Offers from my region' in the settings (consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25 TDDDG), we determine your region roughly from your location (postal code, city, federal state). Only this region is stored, not exact coordinates. We use this exclusively to display relevant internal advertisements and partner offers (e.g., language schools, banks) within the app.
- Location and region are not passed on to advertising or affiliate partners
- Partner links contain only an anonymous click ID, no user ID
- No tracking across apps or websites of other providers takes place
- You can revoke your consent at any time in the settings; the stored region will then be deleted

- Server-side: Email, user profile, learning history
- Locally: Cache for offline functionality (IndexedDB, LocalStorage)
- You can delete your account and all associated data at any time
